The historic Riverhead Raceway is set to host another exciting weekend of stock car racing and family entertainment on Friday, August 14th, and Saturday, August 15th, 2026. Fans can look forward to high-octane action across both NASCAR Modifieds and massive monster truck displays.
Friday night kicks off with the Baldwin, Evans & Jarzombek 77 race for the Buzz Chew Chevrolet NASCAR Modifieds. Qualifying for this event was already underway when severe weather interrupted plans, but the race is still on for Friday, August 14th. Owen Grennan of Glen Cove previously set a fast time during qualifying, securing the HighMark Building Efficiency Fast Time award with a lap of 11.654.
Saturday promises even more spectacle with the My Guy Auto Supply NAPA of Riverhead Monster Truck Smash. This event features two performances of crushing action, including bicycle stunts, ATV racing, and spectacular wheelies from the Monster Trucks. General admission gates open at 6:30 PM for this Saturday show.
The evening program will feature pit parties and on-track thrills throughout the day. Qualifying heats begin at 7:30 PM with opening ceremonies at 8:00 PM. Tickets are available for purchase online, and please note that seating at Riverhead Raceway is first come, first serve.
