Todd Owen secured a well-deserved victory in the SK Modified feature at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl this past Saturday. Owen battled through a competitive race to take the top spot in the 35-lap event, marking his first win of the season at the shoreline oval.
The competition was tight, with Anthony Flannery finishing in second place, closely followed by Jon Puleo in third. This victory sets a strong tone for the season for Owen at the Speedbowl.
Beyond the Modified action, other classes saw notable results. In the SK Light Modified feature, Robert Bloxsom III took the win, while Kevin Cormier and Milania Shilosky rounded out the top three spots.
The Late Model 100 also delivered excitement, with Ray Christian III claiming the overall victory. Segment results saw Tyler Chapman win the first segment, Shawn Gaedeke dominate the second, and Christian take the final segment win.
