Peyton Sellers secured a dominant victory at South Boston Speedway on Saturday, August 22nd, marking his fourth win of the 2026 campaign. This performance came during Race 17 of the 20-race points paying schedule, providing a crucial boost to his championship aspirations as the season winds down.
The victory was particularly significant as it helped Sellers maintain momentum in a tight points battle. While Trevor Ward entered the night with a healthy 22-point lead, Sellers delivered a clutch performance in the latter stages of the 100-lap feature, driving away by more than two seconds to claim the win.
The competition remained fierce, with rookie Conner Weddell finishing second and Blake Stallings and Landon Pembelton rounding out the top five finishers.
