Riverhead Raceway·

The Sara Sylvester INEX Legend Race Car National Qualifier 50 is set to feature significantly increased financial incentives for the 2026 edition. Announced by Erin Larsen-Delaney, the race is raising the stakes with the introduction of a new HighMark Building Efficiency Challenge, adding a unique element to this highly lucrative event at Riverhead Raceway.

The race continues to draw massive attention, and the financial rewards reflect this excitement. Drivers will benefit from a detailed lap money program, with payouts distributed among the top five finishers per lap post-tech, ranging from $15 down to $3. Numerous bonus awards are also on the table, including specific prizes for top finishers like the Hard Charger and Fastest Lap.

A major new feature is the HighMark Building Efficiency Challenge. The driver who wins the Unique Golf/Turbush Racing Pole Award will be given the option to drop to the rear of the 26-car starting grid. If they accept, they can win $1,500 if they finish first, a $1,000 bonus if they finish second, or $500 if they secure third place. Drivers who decline the challenge will still receive a $250 Oval Speed Gift Card if they finish in the top four post-tech.

Beyond the Legend Race Car, Riverhead Raceway will host a full slate of events, including Late Models, Super Pro Trucks, Street Stocks, and various other racing disciplines. Fans can catch the action starting with time trials at 4:45 PM, with feature events commencing after qualifying.
