Barre, VT – Mother Nature continues to be unkind to the Thunder Road faithful in 2026 with forecasters calling for expected rain and thunderstorms Thursday evening forcing Officials to postpone the entire Jet Service Envelope/Accura Printing Night to Thursday, September 10.

With all major weather reports in the area calling for a band of severe thunderstorms followed by rain through Thursday afternoon and evening, Thunder Road officials have had to make the unfortunate decision to postpone the whole of Jet Service Envelope Night, including the Run-What-U-Brung Spectator Drags, to Thursday, September 10 with a 6:30pm Post Time.

“It’s unfortunate to have to move another event due to rain but we want to save teams and our safety service personnel the travel time,” said Thunder Road managing partner Cris Michaud. “We’re already looking ahead to next week and hopefully Mother Nature will be on our side from here on out.”

Thunder Road is scheduled to be back in action on Thursday, September 3rd with Cody Chevrolet-Cadillac Night! The Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers take center stage to crown the Myers Container Service Triple Crown Champion with the Cody Chevrolet-Cadillac 100 also set as round three in the ACT Twin-State Series! The Maplefields/Irving Late Models, rk Miles Street Stocks and Burnett Scrap Metals Road Warriors join in with a 7:00pm Post Time next Thursday, September 3.

It’ll be another quick turnaround for the Thunder Road faithful to prepare for the 48th EastRise Credit Union Labor Day Classic 200 on Sunday, September 6 with the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour returning home for 200 heart-pounding laps! The Flying Tigers, Street Stocks and Road Warriors will also be joined by the New England Pro-4 Modifieds on Sunday, September 6 with a 4:00pm Twilight Post Time!
