Stafford Speedway hosted the NASCA Whelen Modified Tour for the GAF 150 along with its five weekly divisions. Alexander Pearl won the SK Modified® feature, Josh Wood was the Late Model feature winner, Nick Anglace won for the 7th time this season in the SK light feature, Jeremy Lavoie won the Limited Late Model feature, and Jason Raymond was victorious in the Street Stock feature.
In the 40-lap SK Modified® feature, the field completed the first lap with Alexander Pearl leading Dylan Izzo before the caution flew for Meghan Fuller and David Flammia, Jr., who both spun in turn 2.
Pearl took the lead on the restart with Anthony Flannery and Izzo going wheel to wheel for second. Tyler Chapman was fourth with Todd Owen fifth. Curt Brainard spun in turn 4 to bring the caution flag back out with 3 laps complete.
Izzo took the lead back under green with Pearl in second. Chapman was third with Flannery fourth and Owen fifth. Chapman went to the outside lane to try to move forward and he ran several laps wheel to wheel with Flannery before falling back into line in fourth on lap-9. Pearl was starting to apply some heavy pressure to Izzo for the lead but Izzo was able to hold him off and maintain the lead. Glen Reen went around in turn 2 to bring the caution back out with 18 laps complete.
The restart saw Flannery go 3-wide with Pearl and Izzo for the lead with Pearl emerging in the lead, Flannery second, and Izzo third. Owen was up to fourth with Chapman right behind him in fifth place. Jon Puleo, Andrew Molleur, Michael Christopher, Jr., Keith Rocco, and Marcello Rufrano were all side by side behind the top-4 cars making up the top-10. Puleo moved up to fifth with Christopher taking sixth and Rocco seventh on lap-24 as Chapman was starting to slide backwards.
With 10 laps to go Pearl was still in command with Flannery right behind him in second. Izzo was third with Owen and Christopher making up the top-5. Rocco was sixth with Anthony Bello, Molleur, Puleo, and Rufrano making up the top-10. Pearl led Flannery to the checkered flag to pick up his first win of the 2026 season. Izzo finished third with Christopher and Owen rounding out the top-5.
In the 30-lap Late Model feature, Paul Varricchio, Jr. took the early lead with Adam Gray hot on his back bumper. Adon Burrell was third with Chris Meyer fourth and Josh Wood fifth. After several laps of nearly taking the lead, Gray was able to make a pass stick on lap-4 to move into the lead. Chris Buffone hit the wall in turn 4 and came to a stop to bring the caution flag out with 4 laps complete.
Gray took the lead back under green with Wood taking second. Varricchio dropped a spot back to third with Wayne Coury, Jr. moving up to fourth and Darrell Keane taking fifth. Burrell came to a stop against the turn 4 wall to bring the caution flag back out with 9 laps complete.
Gray again took the lead on the restart with Wood and Varricchio behind him. Keane moved up a spot into fourth and Meyer was fifth but Coury took a hard hit into the turn 1 wall to bring the caution flag out with 10 laps complete.
Wood took the lead on the next restart with Gray falling back to second. Meyer was up to third in line with Michael Bennett taking fourth and Keane was fifth. Just behind Keane was Kevin Gambacorta, Varricchio, Buffone, Damian Palardy, and Scott Davis.
With 10 laps to go, Wood had pulled out to nearly a full straightaway lead over Gray. Lap-21 saw Gray and Meyer touch in turn 4 as Meyer went by to take over second place with Gray falling back to third. Bennett was still running in fourth with Keane holding fifth place. Wood cruised to victory to pick up his second win of the 2026 season. Meyer finished second with Gray, Bennett, and Keane rounding out the top-5.
In the 20-lap SK Light feature event, Casey Vogt took the lead at the start of the race with Nick Anglace quickly taking second. Amanda West was third in the early going with Matt Brewer fourth and Bob Charland fifth. Anglace made a move to the inside of Vogt on lap-4 and he had the lead by a nose at the line. Anglace cleared into the lead on lap-5 while Dylan Houghton took fifth place with Charland and Peter Bennett now wheel to wheel for sixth place. Coming down the frontstretch the cars of S.R. Midford and Paul Arcari got together, which collected the car of Travis Downey and brought the caution flag out with 6 laps complete.
Anglace took the lead on the restart with Vogt and West in second and third. Houghton was now fourth with Brewer in fifth place. West was looking to the inside of Vogt for second but Vogt was able to fend off that challenge and he maintained second place. The cars of Chris Matthews, Sami Anderson, and Tyler Barry came together on the frontstretch with Anderson’s car nearly getting airborne to bring the caution flag back out with 12 laps complete.
Anglace and Vogt were wheel to wheel for the lead with West and Houghton wheel to wheel behind them in high speed pace laps fighting for the lead back under green. West got clear into third place on lap-16 but Anglace and Vogt were still side by side for the lead with Anglace holding the lead by a nose. Anglace was able to finally get clear into the lead on lap-18 with West now applying heavy pressure to Vogt for second. Anglace led the field to the checkered flag to pick up his seventh win of the 2026 season. Vogt finished second with Houghton, Bloxsom, and Bennett rounding out the top-5.
In the 20-lap Limited Late Model feature, Devon Jencik took the lead at the start with Jeremy Lavoie and RJ Surdell right behind him in second and third. Norm Root, III was fourth with Jason Lafayette holding fifth place. Lavoie was pressuring Jencik for the lead and he was able to get to the inside of Jencik on lap-5 and he took the lead on lap-6. Surdell followed Lavoie by Jencik to move into second and drop Jencik back to third in line. Root and Lafayette were still fourth and fifth with Rich Hammann right behind Lafayette in sixth place.
As the race hit the halfway point Lavoie was still in the lead but Surdell was applying heavy pressure and looking to take over the race lead. Root was now third with Jencik, Lafayette, and Hammann all lined up behind him. Dana Wray spun on the backstretch to bring the caution flag back out with 14 laps complete. Lavoie took the lead on the restart with Jencik taking second. Surdell and Root made contact racing down the backstretch and going into turn 3, Surdell spun and collected the car of Hammann to bring the caution flag out with 15 laps complete.
Lavoie took the lead on the restart with Root taking second. Adrien Paradis, III took third with Jencik fourth and Aaron Plemons fifth. Lafayette took fifth from Plemons on lap-19 but it was all Lavoie at the front as he took the checkered flag to pick up his second win of the 2026 season. Paradis finished third with Jencik and Lafayette rounding out the top-5.
In the 20-lap Street Stock feature event, Marvin Minkler took the early lead at the drop of the green flag with Scott Sundeen taking second. Kolton Gambacorta went 3-wide at the start to move into third but lap-3 saw a shuffle up front as Brent Gleason took to the outside lane and went by all top-3 cars to take the lead. Matthew Lowinski-Loh followed him through on the high side to take second. Minkler took third with Jason Raymond fourth and Sundeen fifth. Gambcorta fell back to sixth when he got into the turn 3 wall to bring the caution flag out with 3 laps complete.
Gleason and Lowinski-Loh went door to door for the lead on the restart with Raymond taking third and Brandon Warren taking fourth. Sundeen was fifth in line behind the top-4 which saw Raymond take second from Lowinski-Loh on lap-5 as Gleason continued to lead. Lowinski-Loh lost several more spots on lap-7 as Warren took third and Ryan Waterman took fourth to drop Lowinski-Loh back to fifth. Waterman took third from Warren on lap-8 and that move opened the door for Lowinski-Loh to follow him through and take fourth place with Warren falling back to fifth. Raymond and Gleason touched racing for the lead on lap-11 with Waterman briefly taking the lead before Raymond came right back to his inside to reclaim the lead. Lowinski-Loh was now second behind Raymond with Waterman third, Gleason fourth, and Warren fifth. Raymond led Lowinski-Loh to the checkered flag to pick up his third win of the 2026 season. Waterman finished third with Gleason and Warren rounding out the top-5.
