CLAREMONT, NH - Robbie Streeter picked up right where he’d left off two weeks ago Friday at Claremont Motorsports Park. In the third-mile oval’s last event, the Canaan hot shoe stormed to victory in the Super Streets, This time out, he romped to a landslide win atop the Outlaws.
To make Friday’s big main event score even sweeter, his 35-lap dominant Outlaw victory was scored just ahead of his second Streeter Construction entry, piloted Friday by Robert Hagar, who earlier this summer rocketed the same Streeter ride to victory lane.
Other winners on Frazer’s Place Night included Super Street star Chris Riendeau, whose lap-one move-of-the night, sent him off to Country Fuels Victory lane for the eighth time this summer, and Unity’s Adrian Smith, the winner Friday of his first Pure Stock feature of the season.
Steve Miller Sr., a kingpin of the Six Shooter division, blasted off to his first career Crown Vic win, Trevyr Young made it a track-high eleven on the year in the Ridge Runners, and Michael Casey used his third 2026 Six Shooter victory to move to first place in his division’s points parade.
In Friday’s nightcap Asetex Tire and Auto Outlaw Late Model main event, Josh Ruel and Trevor Rocke sat up front as the sleek flyers went to war. Rocke wasted no time in taking charge, but Streeter - firing from row two - was soon at his bumper.
Exploding low through turn two on the sixth go-round, he had his Marsh Brothers Deli machine in the lead and the rest of the field was left to battle for second, far behind him.
Hagar took second from Tyler Lescord on lap 13 and, for most of the final 22 circuits, he, Guy Caron, and Cody Schoolcraft raced inches apart in quest of the runner-up finish. With Streeter winning by a full half lap, Hagar brought the team car home next and some post-race shenanigans moved Lescord up to third. Ruel and Rocke completed Friday’s top five.
Erik Smith had the pole in the RE Hinkley Fuels Super Street feature, with Hagar - one of six drivers doing double duty on the night, his front row dancing partner. Chris Riendeau took the green just behind them, but he wouldn’t stay there long.
Making a daring three-wide blast into the second turn, Riendeau had the Frazer’s Place Night lead and would never look back en route to his eighth win of the season and, with it, move closer to his first career CMP championship. Hagar, stuck at the top in the dynamic three-wide shuffle, drifted quickly out of the money but the Windsor, VT ace wasn’t done yet, not even close.
Previous winner Joe Tetreault blasted into second on lap 14, and the next time around had a determined Hagar glued to his bumper. Hagar took second on lap 18 and a lap-21 caution brought him to Riendeau’s door, but the Ascutney star was up to the challenge, guiding his Frazer’s Place, Lighting Chassis ride to victory lane. With Hagar a close second, his first of two runner-up performances on the night, Robbie Streeter was third, Andrew Merritt fourth, and Tetreault fifth.
<Two-time winner Carter Conroy got to the front early in the LaValley’s Building Supply Pure Stock feature. Much of the other muscle in this one sat deep in the field. Gage Dillingham, who had fumbled in his heat, was scratch on the lineup, while top points man Chris Chambers limped in and out of the pits on the pace lap, returning to take Dillingham’s place at the rear.
<And then there was Adrian Smith, still winless on the summer. Charging from row four, he reeled Conroy in on lap three, then looking high and low before taking the top spot on lap 18 and sailing off to victory lane. Chambers, on a mission, rebounded for second, with Dillingham’s charge netting him third, just ahead of Conroy. Parker Fowler’s strong run brought him home fifth.
<Starting up front, Steve Miller Sr. led all the way in the Crown Vic feature to score his first career cop car victory, that along with a boatload of Six Shooter scores. Raven Streeter was a season-long best in second, and Aaron Thompson moved up to third when Milton, VT’s Mike Slingerland sailed wildly off turn two on lap 16. Sebastian Janowiec and Jared Bolduc rounded out Friday night’s cop car top five.
<Bidding for a doubleheader stop in victory lane, Miller Sr. led the first five laps of the Six Shooter main event, but this one was all Michael Casey’s. Taking the lead from Miller at the west end of the track, Casey then sped off into the night to win by a country mile. Michael Yeaton, always a top gun in the Six Shooters, got up for second but was no match for Casey on this night. Meghan Bell, who entered Friday’s event atop the points chart, lost laps in the pits, helping Casey move to the top of his division with his third win of the year. With Yeaton second, Miller finished his big night in third. Raven Streeter and Heath Laware rounded out the top five.
<Trevyr Young won Friday’s dash to victory lane in the JP’s Trucking Ridge Runners, but to earn his eleventh 2026 victory, he had to outduel 14-year-old rookie Karson Hussey. The youngster took the lead from Lane Lantas on lap 12 and rocketed away in quest of his first career win. Young, though, had plans of his own. Taking the top spot on lap 21 as Hussey’s inability to hold the low groove opened up a passing lane, the White River Junction hot shoe, sped off to victory. Lantas came back to finish second, with Hussey earning his first career trophy in third. Nick Nahodl was fourth on the night, and newcomer Peter Fraser raced home fifth.
<The New England Antique Racers series was in town Friday for its annual run at the Thrasher Road speedplant. Curt Snow, of West Warren, MA, was first under the checkers, with heat winner Greg Gilbert second in the feature, and Bradford, VT’s Jeremy Huntoon third. Jared Rouleau was the night’s NEAR Sportsman winner.
<In the show-opening Tiger Sprint Karting event, 11-year-old Hadley Moses, three days shy of entering grade six at the Unity Elementary School, scored his first Friday night victory at CMP. Previous 2026 winner Abel Connolly was a close second, and Owen Cass finished third.
<Claremont Motorsports Park returns to action next Friday with the first event of a huge 2026 Labor Day Weekend double header. On Friday, September 4, the fast third-mile will host a full card of NASCAR Local Racing Series events. And then on Sunday, September 6, the ground-pounding Modified Racing Series comes to town to headline an exciting night of high speed action. Post time for the special Sunday event is 6 p.m.
