Barre, VT – While Mother Nature changed plans last week, the Thunder Road faithful are ready to head full steam ahead into a holiday weekend doubleheader at the Nation’s Site of Excitement!

It all starts this Thursday, September 3 with Cody Chevrolet-Cadillac Night as the Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers go for a 100-lap spectacular that doubles as Round #3 in the ACT Twin-State Series as well as the grand finale of the Myers Container Triple Crown!

The Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers have proved each and every week that they are without a doubt the Number One Support Division in all of North America and this Thursday will pit the teams in an all-important extra-distance showdown! 100 laps will determine the 2026 Myers Container Triple Crown champion with Hinesburg’s Derrick Calkins currently leading Brendan Moodie by just two points! Calkins is looking to become the first ever two-time Myers Container Triple Crown champion since the Series’ inception back in 2017 while Moodie is looking for his first to complement his strong run atop the track championship standings.

Thursday’s 100-lap main event also serves as the third stop on the ACT Twin-State Flying Tiger series. Chandler Potter took May’s opening round at White Mountain Motorsports Park while Stephen Donahue dominated the second round at Groveton, New Hampshire’s Riverside Speedway two weeks ago. Moodie is currently tied with Cameron Ouellette atop the ACT Twin-State standings with Sam Caron and Logan Powers also tied ten points behind. All four are looking to gain the advantage at their hometrack before the Twin-State Series wraps up at a big unknown for the Tiger ranks at Lee USA Speedway during the Oktoberfest weekend!

The Maplefields/Irving Late Models continue to chase Jason Corliss atop the King of the Road track championship standings and look to take the advantage this Thursday. Corliss, Brandon Gray, Taylor Hoar and Brandon Lanphear are among the weekly warriors who will turn and burn in time for Sunday’s EastRise Credit Union Labor Day Classic 200 in hopes of joining the granite monument as a hometrack hero against the incoming Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour invaders!

The rk Miles Street Stocks and Burnett Scrap Metals Road Warriors are also set to put the time in with qualifying and features on both Cody Chevrolet-Cadillac Night this Thursday and the EastRise Labor Day Classic on Sunday. Follow it up with the rain-delayed Jet Service Envelope/Accura Printing event set for Thursday, September 10 and there could be quite the shake-up in the championship chase!

Thunder Road is back in action this Thursday, September 3rd with Cody Chevrolet-Cadillac Night! The Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers take center stage to crown the Myers Container Service Triple Crown Champion following the Cody Chevrolet-Cadillac 100! The Maplefields/Irving Late Models, rk Miles Street Stocks and Burnett Scrap Metals Road Warriors join in with a 7:00pm Post Time.
