Four races remain in the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series, setting up what promises to be one of the tightest championship battles in series history. The series heads to the New London-Waterford Speedbowl this Sunday, September 6th, where the championship standings are incredibly close, with the top three drivers separated by just seven points.

Jonanthan McKennedy currently holds the lead, sitting five points ahead of the competition. McKennedy is aiming for a back-to-back championship title, having secured two victories this season, including wins at Thompson in April and a thrilling win at Seekonk in mid-August.

Trailing McKennedy is the veteran Ronnie Williams, the 2019 champion, who is only five points behind. Williams has demonstrated remarkable consistency throughout the season, accumulating four Top-5 finishes and five Top-10 finishes. Ron Silk holds the third spot, two points behind Williams, and is noted as one of the few multi-time winners in 2026.

Other contenders like Kyle Bonsignore are keeping pace, positioned behind the leaders. The competition is also heating up in the USNEPower Energizer Zone, which offers a $2,000 bonus for performance and longevity within the championship Top-5. With four races left, the battle for supremacy at New London-Waterford Speedbowl is set to be intense.
