Stafford Speedway was the site of a truly dramatic night of short track racing, featuring several exciting finishes across various divisions. The action was intense, highlighted by Todd Owen successfully rallying to secure the win in the SK Modified feature after making a crucial pass on Mike Christopher Jr. coming to the white flag.

Other standout performances included Chris Buffone taking the victory in the Paradiso Insurance Late Model 50. In the SK Light Modified division, Amanda West demonstrated her skill, holding off tough challenges from Robert Bloxsom III and Peter Bennett in the final four laps to claim the win.

The Limited Late Model feature saw Norm Root III make his debut victory at Stafford, utilizing a late pass on Conor Jencik to secure his first win at the track. Additionally, Brent Gleason found victory lane for the first time in 2026 in the Street Stock division.

Beyond the local action, the racing calendar was busy. The Whelen Modified Tour is set to return to action tonight at Oswego Speedway, marking its fifth race of the season with a small field. Meanwhile, other series like the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series and the American Canadian Tour are also running across the region.
