Barre, VT – While Mother Nature had other plans for the original date, Thunder Road is ready to rip for attempt number two on Jet Service Envelope/Accura Printing Night this Thursday, September 10. The Berlin, Vermont printing company has been packed with anticipation to once again present the RUN-WHAT-U-BRUNG spectator drags with your wild and wacky neighbors taking to the highbanks with their daily drivers!
Run-What-U-Brung has a short list of simple rules; All drivers must be at least 18 years of age and hold a valid license. All vehicles must have at least four wheels and be registered, inspected and insured for entry. All competitors must purchase a pit pass and register at the back gate by 6:30pm on Thursday. From then on it’s no-holds-barred on the track with every driver looking to stand tall as the 2026 Run-What-U-Brung Champion!
After dominating the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour event on Sunday, Jason Corliss and Brandon Gray have hit the reset button to prepare for the final three events in the King of the Road track championship chase. Corliss leads Gray in the Maplefields/Irving standings by a steep 41-points with their rivalry almost hitting the breaking point at the end of Sunday’s 200 lapper. Will it boil over again on Thursday or will someone like Bobby Therrien, Chris Pelkey, Taylor Hoar or Scott Dragon steal the spotlight?
Brendan Moodie continues his reign atop the Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tiger ranks while the real battle lies in the runner-up spot. Cooper French has sat in second the longest but both Logan Powers and Luke Peters powered back from an early season slump as the year winds down. The three run among 35- points within one another while Chris LaForest, Robert Gordon and Ty Delphia continue to search for win number one this year during their top-ten point run.
Hayden Bushey has extended his point lead to 32-points over Tyler Wheatley in the rk Miles Street Stock standings with a strong year-long showing for the two sophomore four-cylinder drivers. Hayden Morris has also had a banner year in third after taking his third win of the season on Sunday. Bushey and rookie Zachary Garvey are the only drivers among the top-ten looking for their first win on Jet Service Envelope/Accura Printing night. The Burnett Scrap Metals Road Warriors also return on Thursday with the field looking to finish ahead of Sunday’s podium finishers Cayden Green, Mike Slingerland and Taylor Sayers!
Thunder Road is back in action this Thursday, September 10 for the rain-delayed RUN-WHAT-U-BRUNG night presented by Jet Service Envelope and Accura Printing. Along with the once-a-year spectator drags, the Maplefields/Irving Late Models, Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers and rk Miles Street Stocks continue their 2026 track championship journey alongside the Burnett Scrap Metals Road Warriors with a special 6:30pm Post Time this Thursday, September 10.
Grandstands open at 4:30pm with Adult General Admission set at $15, Kids 6-12 are $5 and Children five and under are free! The Family Four Pack (two adults, two kids) will also be available for $30.
