Barre, VT – Thunder Road Officials have released the entry form for the 64th Vermont Milk Bowl presented by Northfield Savings Bank with $104,935 in purse money and prizes announced for the Toughest Short Track Stock Car Race in North America. Alongside the incredible prizes up for grabs are two exciting additions to the annual fall classic: the Eleveight Design best throwback contest and the addition of the Crown Vics to Saturday’s Booth Bros/Hood Milk Qualifying Day!

Thunder Road and Northfield Savings Bank have once again earmarked a $12,000-to-win and $1,100-to-start purse for the 64th running of the Vermont Milk Bowl, but that’s just the beginning. Each of the Triple 50s Qualifying Heats will once again hold their own $4,300 purse for the top-ten finishers along with $15,000 in lap money at $100 a lap split among the top three runners. The low-point bonuses also return with an additional $10,000 up for grabs if the Milk Bowl winner earns the ‘Perfect Score’ by winning all three segments and the $5,000 bonus if the winner earns a total of either 4 or 5 points to win it!

Last year Marcel Gravel took home $21,900 for his second-consecutive Vermont Milk Bowl victory, the largest winner’s share in Vermont Milk Bowl history due in part to the $5,000 bonus for his 5-point total! This year, early entrants already include former Milk Bowl champions Stephen Donahue and Bobby Therrien, front-runners Brandon Gray, Justin Prescott and Brooks Clark with a strong White Mountain Motorsports Park contingent that includes rookie Kyler Davis, Colin Cornell, Reilly Lanphear and Landyn O’Donnell.

The Vermont Milk Bowl has become the unofficial throwback weekend for Thunder Road and a new twist has been added for 2026. Eleveight Design of Somersworth, New Hampshire has thrown in a prize for the best-appearing throwback Late Model scheme this year. After all the votes are tallied, the winner will receive a Gift Certificate good for a half-wrap for next year’s vinyl design and installation!

After their stellar debut at the Labor Day Classic, the Crown Vic division will return to Thunder Road on Saturday, October 3 as part of the action-packed Booth Bros/Hood Milk Qualifying Day. Alongside the New England Supermodified Series and the NELCAR Legends, the Crown Vics join the once-a-year Time Trial qualifying for the Maplefields/Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour Late Models, the Triple 50s Heat Races as well as time trials and Segment #1 for the Flying Tiger and Street Stock Mini Milk Bowls.

Thunder Road is back in action next Thursday, September 17 for the rain-delayed Bergamot + Amor / Calkins Portable Toilets Night. Along with the World Famous Port-a-Potty Grand Prix, the Maplefields/Irving Late Models, Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers and rk Miles Street Stocks continue their 2026 track championship journey alongside the Burnett Scrap Metals Road Warriors with a special 6:30pm Post Time.

The 64th Vermont Milk Bowl presented by Northfield Savings Bank is set for Sunday, October 4 at the Nation’s Site of Excitement. The local Maplefields/Irving Late Models will take on all Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour invaders in the Toughest Short Track Stock Car Race in North America with a $105,000 purse on the line and the once-in-a-lifetime chance to Kiss the Cow! Don’t miss Booth Bros/Hood Milk Qualifying Day on Saturday, October 3 with Milk Bowl qualifying for the Late Models, Flying Tigers and Street Stocks joined by the NESS Supermodifieds, NELCAR Legends and Crown Vics!

The full Vermont Milk Bowl weekend schedule and pricing will be released by the Thunder Road office in the coming weeks.
