UARA Postpones Sportsman Race at Auburndale

Short Track Scene·

The UARA has made the difficult decision to postpone the upcoming 75-lap Sportsman feature race scheduled at Auburndale Speedway. This change was necessitated by adverse weather forecasts predicting rain at the time of the green flag for the Sportsman division.

In addition to weather concerns, the UARA cited fluctuating fuel prices as another factor in their decision. These combined elements led to the postponement of the event, prioritizing safety and the best interests of all participants.

Instead of the scheduled race, the UARA will be running a double-header of 50-lap races at the quarter-mile in Florida. This alternative schedule allows them to maintain momentum while ensuring a successful event.

The UARA confirmed they will return to Auburndale Speedway on November 7th for an action-packed night featuring TWIN 50s. Looking ahead, the UARA has several events scheduled throughout October, including a stop at the Freedom Factory on October 17th.
