Anthony Flannery of East Hampton secured a victory in the SK Modified feature at the New London-Waterford Speedbowl, marking his third win of the season. Flannery demonstrated strong driving to take the top spot in the 35-lap event, showcasing his consistency in the competitive Modified division.
The competition was fierce across the speedway that day. In the 25-lap SK Light Modified feature, Kevin Davis of Somers claimed his second win of 2026. Evan Bourgeois of East Hassan finished second, while Robert Bloxsom III of Stratford took third place.
Another notable result came from the Mini Stock division, where Erica Canfield of East Haven won the race, becoming the first female driver in the division's history to win at Waterford. In the SK Modified feature, Jon Puleo of Branford came in second, followed by Adam Gada of Bozrah in third.
The Truck feature also saw action, with Ryan Lineham of Hope Valley, R.I. scoring his seventh win of the season. Other races included PJ Evans winning the 25-lap Legends feature, highlighting a busy and competitive day at the Speedbowl.
