Conner Jones secured a victory at the 125-lap CARS Late Model Stock Tour race held at Tri-County Speedway. Jones managed to navigate intense challenges, including a late-race push from Carson Loftin, to take the checkered flag. This win marks Jones' second victory of the 2026 season, and it is his third win at the 4/10-mile track in Granite Falls, North Carolina.
The race featured a fierce battle for the top spots. Jones contended with Caden Kvapil early on, battling side-by-side for nearly 20 laps before he managed to gain an advantage. Throughout the middle and closing stages, Jones had to fend off challenges from both Kvapil and championship contender Treyten Lapcevich. Despite these hurdles, Jones ultimately prevailed, while Lapcevich’s attempt at the podium was derailed by a flat tire.
The drama extended to the rest of the field. Treyten Lapcevich, who had been battling for second place, was forced out of contention after suffering a flat tire with five laps remaining. Meanwhile, Caden Kvapil ultimately surrendered the runner-up position to Carson Loftin in the final dash to the finish line.
