Get ready for Championship Sunday at Riverhead Raceway on Sunday, September 27th, 2026, as the program features some exciting new financial incentives. John Cozza’s Hot Rod Shop of Venice, Florida, is stepping up the competition by adding cash bonuses to the final point races for both the Street Stock and Truck Enduro classes.
These additions provide extra motivation for competitors. The top three finishers in the Street Stock event will now take home $250, $150, and $100, while the Truck Enduro finishers will also receive prize money. Furthermore, the event formats have been expanded: the Street Stock race is now set for 30 laps, and the Truck Enduro stretch has been increased to 59 laps.
This special event builds on the legacy of John Cozza, who has been instrumental in the Truck Enduro division. Beyond the featured events, Championship Sunday will feature a wide variety of classes, including the Mini Stocks, INEX Bandoleros, 8-Cylinder Enduro, 4/6-Cylinder Enduro, Women’s Enduro, Kids Big Wheel Race, and JuiceBox Racers.
