Under the new ownership of Robert Tyler, Caraway Speedway in Sophia, North Carolina, has unveiled an exciting schedule headlined by a $10,000-to-win Late Model Stock Car race. This signature event, dubbed The North Carolina 200, is set for Sunday, March 7, marking the return of Late Model Stocks as the premier NASCAR Division I class at the venue after nearly a decade.
Tyler emphasized that the track aims to support the regional resurgence of Late Model Stocks, which are attracting many talented drivers. While the Late Model Stocks will hold the top spot, the track will continue to feature staple divisions, including Limited Late Models, UCARs, Charges, Crown Vics, Legends, Bandoleros, and Mini Stocks. Specialty events for 602 Modifieds, Pro Late Models, Pro Trucks, and Sportsman will also be part of the action.
The schedule is packed, with dates listed throughout the year, including March 13, 27, and April 3. The track will also host a second major event, a $10,000-to-win Crown Victoria race, which is scheduled for November 6-7 and is sanctioned by the Crown Vic Outlaw Super Series.
The full slate of dates includes events on June 12, 23, and 30, as well as July 14 and 30, and August 14 and 28, ensuring plenty of opportunities for fans to attend the action.
