The 2027 SPEARS CARS Tour Southwest season is set to kick off at Tucson Speedway on Saturday, January 16. The Pro Late Models are returning to Southern Arizona to begin the 14th annual Chilly Willy weekend.
This major short track event will feature both the Pro Late Models and the Limited Late Models, with the addition of the Limited Late Models expanding the series' presence at Tucson for the 2027 weekend.
The series has a history at the track, including the 2026 SoundGear 125. That season opener featured a memorable late-race battle where Kevin Harvick secured the victory, with his son, Keelan Harvick, finishing as the runner-up.
Tucson Speedway, a long-standing fixture in American short track racing, continues its strong relationship with the SPEARS CARS Tour Southwest, which looks forward to building on the success of its first visit in 2026.
