While the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour / Maplefields/Irving Late Models tackle the crown jewel, the Thunder Road support divisions will also be in the hunt for their most rewarding event of the season during Northfield Savings Bank Vermont Milk Bowl weekend.

The Mini Milk Bowls for the Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers, rk Miles Street Stocks, Burnett Scrap Metals Road Warriors, Dads 4 By Tool & Supply Kids Division and the incoming Crown Vics are a no-holds-barred affair on the Barre highbanks. No points, just glory is on the line as a Milk Bowl champion at Thunder Road.

Thunder Road champion Brendan Moodie, White Mountain champion Luke Peters, former Mini Milk Bowl victors Cameron Ouellette, Sam Caron and Logan Powers are among the top Flying Tiger talent looking for one last Thunder Road win this year. Like the rest of the Mini Milk Bowl divisions this weekend, the Tigers will run laps in group qualifying to set the first of two segments by fast-lap times with Segment #2 set by an invert of the finish in Segment #1.

The rk Miles Street Stocks will be ones to watch this weekend as 2026 champion Hayden Bushey has reportedly sold his championship car and will make his Late Model debut at The Road this weekend. Brookfield’s Tyler Wheatley tops the list on the search for redemption after narrowly missing the Thunder Road championship by just two points while White Mountain Strictly Mini champion Jacob Roy is looking to go back-to-back in Mini Milk Bowl wins.

The Road Warriors and Kids Division will have both their Segments on Sunday, the Crown Vics have their full Mini Milk Bowl on Saturday while the Flying Tigers and Street Stocks will both have Segment #1 as part of Booth Bros./Hood Milk Qualifying Day on Saturday before crowning their Mini Milk Bowl champion with Segment #2 on Northfield Savings Bank Sunday.

While they won’t be running monza-style Mini Milk Bowl events, the all-powerful New England Supermodified Series (NESS) and the country-wide NELCAR Legends return to Booth Bros./Hood Milk Qualifying Day with heat race qualifiers and feature events on Saturday. To win at Thunder Road is something special, to win on Milk Bowl weekend is even grander with both the lightning-fast Supermodifieds and the Legends looking to nab the bragging rights on Saturday!

The 64th Vermont Milk Bowl presented by Northfield Savings Bank is set for Sunday, October 4 at the Nation’s Site of Excitement. The local Maplefields/Irving Late Models will take on all Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour invaders in the Toughest Short Track Stock Car Race in North America with a $105,000 purse on the line and the once-in-a-lifetime chance to Kiss the Cow! Sunday's action starts at 12:15pm with the Last Chance B-Feature prior to opening ceremonies at 12:40pm. The Green Flag on Segment #1 drops at 1:30pm.

Don’t miss Booth Bros/Hood Milk Qualifying Day on Saturday, October 3 with Milk Bowl qualifying for the Late Models, Flying Tigers and Street Stocks joined by the NESS Supermodifieds, NELCAR Legends and Crown Vics! Saturday’s racing action begins at 1:00pm.
