Jeffrey Peterson continued his dominant run at The Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, securing his fifth CARS Tour Southwest Limited Late Model victory of the season during the Kyle Busch Classic 105 on Friday night, October 2, 2026. Peterson, who is also the 2026 track champion at the venue, celebrated the win in his No. 51 car, adding to his impressive 13 victories at the Nevada track that season.

The race featured a challenging new racing surface following a summer repave. After starting with Skyler Schoppe leading the field, Peterson managed to hold his position and eventually pull away from the competition. While Schoppe delivered a career-best finish in the Limited Late Model division, Peterson successfully defended his lead through the grueling 105-lap event.

The competition was fierce, with several incidents occurring throughout the night. After an early caution, Peterson maintained his advantage, but the battle for second place intensified between Schoppe and Tanner Huddleston. Both drivers sustained damage in a contact on Lap 25, allowing Christian Bazen to move into second place.

Peterson ultimately held off the charging Schoppe in the final laps to claim the inaugural Kyle Busch Classic. Schoppe, who also spoke highly of the event, expressed gratitude for the opportunity to honor Kyle Busch and his impact on short track racing and the city of Las Vegas.
