
Officials with the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) and Pro All Stars Series (PASS), in conjunction with NASCAR and the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series, announced an updated schedule of events for the Sunoco World Series at Thompson Speedway. With rain forecasted to come in by mid-afternoon Sunday, the Sunday divisions previously scheduled have been added to Saturday’s card for a massive Modified doubleheader!
With the adjustment, Saturday, October 10 will be headlined by a twin-bill featuring both the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series and the 2026 championship event for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour! Pits open on Saturday at 7:00am with practice set to run from 8:30am to 11:45am. Qualifying will begin at 12:00-noon with the New England Supermodified Series (NESS) heats with feature events set to begin by, approximately, 2:00pm. The NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour will stage a 45-minute practice at 5:00pm with time trial qualifying set for 6:30pm and the green-flag on the Sunoco World Series 150 at 8:00pm.
Sunoco World Series Super Saturday is packed to the brim with ten feature events, including championship events for the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour, Thompson Sunoco Modifieds, SK Lights and Street Stocks plus the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series, NESS Supermodifieds, Pro-4 Modifieds, Crown Vics and the NEMA Lites.
Racing action begins at 12:00pm with heat race qualifying, feature racing is set to begin by 2:00pm. Grandstands open at 9:00am with Saturday-only General Admission is set at $55 for Adults, $20 for Kids ages 6-12 with children five and under free! The North East Short Track Network (NESTN) will stream all three days of the 64th Sunoco World Series at Thompson Speedway.
