Due to the increasing threat of rain, NASCAR and the management at Thompson Speedway have made a significant change to the World Series schedule. The entire Sunday card has been moved to Saturday, October 10, which now includes the highly anticipated Whelen Modified Tour season finale.
This rescheduling creates a massive 11-feature race card for Saturday at Thompson. It is also a unique event, marking the first time the Monaco Modified Tri-Track Series and the Whelen Modified Tour will compete together on the same day at the same track.
The Whelen Modified Tour event is now set to run at 8 pm on Saturday. The series will conclude with Patrick Emerling clinching his first series title by successfully taking the green flag for the event.
