Battle Tested Drivers Shine at Thompson Sunoco World Series

The Sunoco World Series began at Thompson Speedway with a modified schedule, as Sunday's planned events were moved to Saturday, resulting in a busy 11-feature card for the day.

In the Sunoco Modified feature, Todd Owen secured the top spot, while Keith Rocco finished in second place. Bryan Narducci took third, leading to some intense reactions from the competitors.

Other notable results included Jeffrey Battle achieving his first Modified Racing Series victory and his first win in a Tour Type Modified car. Meanwhile, Matt Lowinski claimed the championship and the victory in the Late Model division.

In other features, Ryan Lineham drove away from the field in the R&R Race Parts Street Stock Series, and Dylan Cabral topped the Crown Vics. Separately, Layne Riggs earned his seventh win of the season in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway.
