Patrick Emerling successfully clinched his inaugural NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour championship during the Sunoco World Series 150 at Thompson Speedway this past Saturday.
Emerling secured the title by finishing in third place in the final race of the season. He maintained a commanding 36-point advantage over second-place Austin Beers, who was the reigning 2025 series champion.
The final standings saw Jon McKennedy finish in third place, while Matt Hirschman rounded out the top four in fourth position.
Emerling competes for the David Miller-owned USNEPower Motorsports team, with Dale Hedquist serving as his crew chief.
