The Snowball Derby has introduced a unique incentive for competitors, offering an extra $1,000 to the highest-finishing driver who displays their home state or country flag sticker next to their name on the roof rail.
This special bonus is designed by Five Flags Speedway General Manager Tim Bryant to encourage teams to showcase their heritage during the premier Super Late Model event. The Derby has grown significantly, with the 2025 race featuring participants from 16 different states and two Canadian provinces.
The event, which already pays $50,000 regardless of this bonus, culminates on Sunday, December 6th. Rig parking for the Derby begins a week earlier, starting on Wednesday, December 2nd.
