Roderick Wins in Chaos; Johnson Claims Series Title

Short Track Scene·

Casey Roderick successfully returned to victory lane, securing a win in the Alabama State Asphalt Championship. Driving the No. 18 Pro Late Model for Ronnie Sanders Racing, Roderick held off a hard-charging Jim Wall to take the checkered flag after a green-white-checkered restart.

The finish was marked by late-race chaos when leaders John Bolen and Presley Johnson made contact on the exit of Turn 4. This collision resulted in a spin for Bolen, setting the stage for the dramatic conclusion of the race.

Despite being involved in the late-race incident, Presley Johnson finished in fifth place. This result was enough for Johnson to claim his first-ever championship in the Show Me The Money Pro Late Model Series.

In the aftermath, Jim Wall was disqualified in post-race technical inspection over left-side weight. Gage Rodgers officially finished second, with 13-year-old Keeton Harris rounding out the podium in third. Sally Mott finished fourth.
