Doiron, McKennedy, Fisher Win at Lee USA Oktoberfest

The Pro All Stars Series (PASS) and American-Canadian Tour (ACT) put on a packed showcase of racing events for the famed Oktoberfest weekend finale at Lee USA Speedway. After the dust, and even a few sprinkles of snow, settled, Kaiden Fisher, Joey Doiron and Jon McKennedy walked out as the big Oktoberfest victors while the likes of Jeffrey Battle, Ben Seitz, Josh Hodgdon and more left Oktoberfest as season long champions in 2026.

The New England Supermodified Series (NESS) kicked off the weekend’s feature racing with their 2026 championship finale. It was a three-way battle through the first half with Derek Griffith narrowly leading PJ Stergios and 2026 series champion Jeffrey Battle. By lap 22, Battle yelled ‘Damn the Torpedoes’ and launched his way underneath both cars to lead under the halfway signal. A trio of late race cautions created a spirited battle with Jon McKennedy to the very end with McKennedy taking the win by 0.218-seconds at the line. By taking the green flag, Jeffrey Battle claimed his second consecutive NESS championship but took home second place for good measure.

Starting in the third position, Joey Doiron had anything but a cakewalk in the 150-lap march to victory lane with the PASS Super Late Models. While he took the lead by lap 10, Doiron faced a frightening rearview mirror with the likes of Eddie MacDonald through the first third with ‘The Outlaw’ taking control by lap 45. Trevor Sanborn became the next threat, marching up the outside lane to take control around MacDonald just before the halfway point, all as Doiron sat back and watched it all unfold. Joey Doiron beat Sanborn on the lap 102 restart and never looked back to take down the Oktoberfest 150 over Jimmy Renfrew, Jr. and Sanborn.

The Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour visited Oktoberfest weekend for the first time on Sunday with Quebec’s Jonathan Bouvrette having a strong showing through the first half of their Oktoberfest 150. By lap 90 the abrasive asphalt of New Hampshire’s Center of Speed had taken its toll on Bouvrette’s tires, allowing Kaiden Fisher to jump into the lead. Fisher held on through three caution periods in the final ten laps, including one for the stalled point leader Gabe Brown who saw his strong Lee run go up in smoke with six-to-go. Fisher faced heavy opposition from Trevor Sanborn but never faltered to take his third ACT win of the season and the point lead with one event left on the calendar.

Thomas Brackett earned his first win in the PASS Modified division on Saturday. Brackett led the field from green to checker, even through a pair of late cautions in a white-knuckle battle with Jeremy Davis to the checkered flag. Brackett just edged Davis at the line by 0.057-seconds with Jacoby Maines rounding out the top-three podium.

Adam Lovejoy paced the majority of Saturday’s Street Stock/Limited Sportsman 50-lap Challenge, eventually taking the $1,200 win over a hard-charging Justin Beecher, who started back in 22nd, and Andrew Moorn at the line. Todd Owen hauled up to Lee USA Speedway on Sunday and dominated the shortened 30-lap 604 Modified portion of Oktoberfest weekend. Owen took Sunday’s win over Anthony Flannery and fellow Thompson Speedway standout Zack Sangermano.

Both the Ridge Runners and the 350 Supermodifieds walked into Oktoberfest weekend with the tightest points battles to round out the 2026 season. At the end of qualifying on Saturday, both Josh Hodgdon and Kyle Dumas were tied atop the standings at 553 points. At the end of 20 laps, Hodgdon earned the championship with his 5th-place finish to Dumas’ 12th. Trystin Bodwell earned her second win of the season to round out the year.

The 350s found themselves in similar territory with Ben Tinker and Ben Seitz tied at 288 points after Sunday’s heat race qualifiers. With ‘The Ben Show’ on watch, Matt Swanson ran away with the 50-lap victory as the fifth different winner in as many 350 Supermodified events at Lee USA Speedway this summer. Seitz gave it all he could but came home third behind Dave Helliwell on the track but first in the championship against Tinker’s 5th-place run.

Oktoberfest Weekend also capped off the championship season for two other visiting tours. Cameron Ouellette battled back from an early blown tire to claim the ACT Flying Tiger Twin-State Series championship while Jason Woodard won the 50-lap special on Sunday. The Pro Truck Challenge also capped off their season on Sunday with Jason Paquette besting the other Final Four drivers to claim the $10,000 championship while Ryan Lineham took the 55-lap main event win.

A flood of MLM Diagnostic Services Crown Vics filled the pits on Saturday with Rutland, Massachusetts traveler Jaret Curtis claiming the victory as Josh Valliere celebrated his 2026 championship. Rob Richardi, Jr. took the Pro-4 Modified honors on Saturday while Skip Stearns and James Allen rounded out Saturday’s showcase with a pair of Senior Tour Auto Racers (STAR) wins.

Sunday’s showcase was topped off with the NELCAR Legends alongside the Midgets and Lites of the Northeastern Midget Association (NEMA). ‘The Warlock’ Adam Warnock took down the well attended NELCAR Legend feature while Randy Cabral took the 25-lap NEMA Midget feature and Mike Pernesiglio rounded out Oktoberfest weekend with the NEMA Lite win.

Oktoberfest has officially closed out the 2026 campaign at Lee USA Speedway.
