Kaiden Fisher secured a crucial victory in the Oktoberfest 150 at Lee USA Speedway, clinching his third Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour win of the season. Fisher managed to hold off a late challenge from Trevor Sanborn to take the checkered flag, which propelled him into the championship lead heading into the season finale at Seekonk Speedway.
The race was marked by intense late-race action and multiple cautions. After Fisher took the lead on lap 91, the field saw several incidents, including a spin by Andrew Larue and a late caution caused by Gabe Brown's mechanical issues. Fisher ultimately managed to pull away from the field, securing the win.
Trevor Sanborn drove a tenacious race, finishing second, while Nick Sweet came through to finish third. The day's results saw Gabe Brown, a teammate of Fisher's, retire with 22nd place, leaving Fisher with a significant point advantage over Brown entering the final race of the season.
Fisher emphasized that the championship was not taken lightly. "We definitely kept track of points all day," he stated, acknowledging the pressure as the title race continues between him and the 2024 ACT Tour champion, Gabe Brown.
