The 53rd annual Turkey Derby is gearing up to be one of the biggest events in Wall Stadium history, with USNE Power serving as the presenting sponsor for the action on November 27th and 28th. The weekend promises a high-speed showcase of short track racing talent, culminating in a major feature event on Saturday.
Friday, November 27th, kicks off the festivities with a 125-Lap Wall/SK Modified feature, which offers $6,000 to win plus bonuses. The card also features the O’Shea’s Auto Repair Factory Stocks ($750 to win 30-Lap), the Natural Design Co. Legend Cars ($1,000 to win), Surfside Collision 4-Cylinders ($500 to win), and the return of the Dirt Outlaw Stocks.
The main event arrives on Saturday, November 28th, when the powerful Tour-Type Modifieds take to the high-banks for a 150-Lap battle. This feature event boasts a $10,000 prize for the winner, alongside bonuses. The day also includes the ATQMRA TQ Midgets ($500 to win), the Accurate Tree Service Sportsman ($2,000 to win plus bonuses), and a second O’Shea’s Auto Repair Factory Stock feature.
Pit gates open at 6:30 am each day, with qualifying set for 10:30 am and feature action beginning at 1:30 pm. Teams will have the opportunity to practice on November 14th, November 21st, and November 22nd to tune up for the highly anticipated weekend.
