The Super Late Model racing landscape is seeing a major shift as CARS STARS Super Tour and UARA National have announced a partnership to co-promote the Tekton Battle at Berlin in 2027. This collaboration is the result of recent discussions aimed at finding common ground and developing a unified rule book for pavement Super Late Model racing.

The relationship between the two series, which had been strained in the past, has been revitalized. UARA director Ricky Brooks and new CARS STARS co-owner Kevin Harvick have both expressed positive sentiment regarding the renewed dialogue. Harvick emphasized that the two organizations are starting with a blank slate, while Brooks praised Harvick's candor and intent.

This joint effort is seen as a benefit to the entire discipline. CARS STARS co-owners Marty Melo and Tim Huddleston are keen to bring the Battle at Berlin onto a national tour schedule, and the co-promotion with UARA stands to boost the profile of the event and the racing series.

The move follows a period of tension between UARA and the former ASA STARS National Tour, particularly during the time the latter was managed by Bob Sargent. However, the current focus is on moving forward, with all parties working toward a unified rules package to make these high-level events possible.
