Lime Rock Park is preparing to celebrate 70 years of motorsports history with an expanded 2027 spectator schedule, featuring eight major event weekends. Entering its 70th season, the historic Connecticut road course will welcome the return of the IMSA-sanctioned FCP Euro Northeast Grand Prix, NASCAR FedEx Freight Truck Series, the Trans Am Series, and some of the nation's fastest-growing grassroots motorsports events.
The expanded schedule builds on a landmark 2026 season that saw record attendance and participation across several of The Park's signature events, including GRIDLIFE Circuit Legends, Historic Festival 44, and MiataCon presented by Piloti. The continued growth of these enthusiast-driven events reflects the increasing popularity of grassroots motorsports and automotive culture at the historic circuit.
The 2027 season opens May 14-15 with the return of the USAC Mustang Cup, which will offer free admission to all spectators, followed by the Trans Am Memorial Day Classic (May 27-30), SCCA New England Regionals (June 11-12), the LIUNA 150 featuring the NASCAR FedEx Freight Truck Series and ARCA Menards Series (July 9-10), GRIDLIFE Circuit Legends (August 20-21), Historic Festival 45 (Sept. 2-6), FCP Euro Northeast Grand Prix featuring IMSA (Sept. 23-25), and MiataCon (October 29-30).
Responding to fan feedback, Lime Rock Park will bring both headline races of the LIUNA 150 back to Saturday, July 10, giving spectators the opportunity to see the NASCAR FedEx Freight Truck Series and ARCA Menards Series compete on the same day. Beyond the expanded racing calendar, Lime Rock Park will commemorate its seven-decade legacy with special anniversary activities planned throughout the season.
"Celebrating 70 years of Lime Rock Park is an incredible milestone, and we're entering this anniversary season with tremendous momentum," said Lime Rock Park President and CEO Dicky Riegel. "The growth we've experienced across our major events, particularly with grassroots motorsports and enthusiast-driven weekends, speaks to the passion of our fans and the strength of the motorsports community. With an expanded schedule, the return of IMSA and our commitment to keeping events accessible and affordable, we're looking forward to making our 70th season one to remember."
The USAC Mustang Cup returns to Lime Rock Park to open the 70th anniversary season, bringing Ford Mustang competition back to the historic Connecticut circuit. The two-day event will offer free spectator admission, giving fans an opportunity to experience racing at The Park as the milestone season gets underway.
One of Lime Rock Park's longest-running traditions returns Memorial Day weekend as the Trans Am Series headlines three days of racing. The weekend will also feature the SVRA Invitational, International GT and Prototype America, bringing a diverse lineup of vintage, sportscars and prototype racing to the historic circuit. With reduced gate admission pricing for 2027, fans will have a more affordable opportunity to experience one of The Park's signature weekends.
The Sports Car Club of America (SCCA) returns to Lime Rock Park for its 70th annual running, continuing a racing tradition that began with the circuit's inaugural event on April 20, 1957. Seven decades later, the SCCA New England Regionals continues that legacy, bringing amateur competitors and a diverse field of production-based race cars and open-wheel machinery back to the same 1.5-mile circuit where Lime Rock Park's racing history began June 11-12.
The NASCAR FedEx Freight Truck Series returns to Lime Rock Park for the third consecutive year, with the LIUNA 150 once again bringing national NASCAR competition to the historic 1.5-mile road course. The ARCA Menards Series will also return to the weekend lineup competing on the same day as the Truck Series (July 10), with additional supporting series to be announced at a later date.
Following record attendance in 2026, GRIDLIFE Circuit Legends returns to Lime Rock Park, combining wheel-to-wheel racing, time attack competition, drifting and automotive lifestyle culture. Celebrating the cars and culture of the 1980s, 1990s and early 2000s, Circuit Legends has become one of The Park's fastest-growing spectator events, attracting a new generation of motorsports enthusiasts through its blend of competition, music and community.
One of the nation's premier historic racing celebrations returns Labor Day weekend for its 45th edition. Following a record-breaking Historic Festival 44 that welcomed 287 competition entries and more than 1,200 vehicles during Sunday in the Park, the five-day celebration will once again bring together historic race cars, collectors and automotive enthusiasts from across the country. The traditional Historic Festival Parade kicks off the festivities Thursday, followed by vintage racing Friday, Saturday and Monday. Sunday in the Park will feature the Lime Rock Concours and Gathering of the Marques, transforming the circuit into an expansive automotive showcase.

The enthusiast-driven celebration will once again bring together racing, high-performance driving experiences, car shows and community activities all dedicated to the Miata.
