The UARA Sportsman division is heading to Citrus County Speedway for a highly anticipated season finale this Saturday, November 7th. The three-eighth mile track in Inverness, Florida, will host a double-header event to crown the 2026 champion, concluding the season after the series' previous location change.
The championship battle has been incredibly tight, with several drivers vying for the top spot. Dylan Bigley has dominated the latter half of the year, leading the standings with 872 points. Tim Sozio, known for his consistent performance, holds a strong second place with 864 points, while James Seeright and Adam Briggs round out the top three.
However, the race is far from settled. Dodge Carlbert, who is currently sixth in points with 788 tallies, has managed to claw his way back into contention, sitting within 85 points of Bigley's lead. The top five drivers—Bigley, Sozio, Seeright, Briggs, and Morris—have been separated by margins as small as 44 points, making the final race crucial.
Each of the two races will be shortened to 50 laps, with full points awarded in both events. Coverage is scheduled to begin around 5:45 PM local time, featuring a field of 23 participants ready to battle for the coveted UARA Sportsman title.
