Mother Nature Wipes out Saturday Event at Monadnock Speedway
Winchester, NH: The weather did not cooperate with Monadnock Speedway this past Saturday (July 14) forcing the owners to cancel the Iron Mike Memorial NEMA event and the annual Open Track Party. The Iron Mike Memorial featuring NEMA and NEMA Lites has been postponed to Super Saturday Season Finale Event on Saturday, September 22, 2018. The Open Track Party / Heroes of Yester-Year will be held on a future date to be determined.
This Saturday (July 21), Monadnock Speedway will not have a race event due the the Summer Break. The track will be back in action on Saturday (July 28) for their annual Christmas In July event featuring Granite State Legends, Bandoleros, Sportsman Modifieds, Super Stocks, Mini Stocks, Thunder Stocks (Bonus Race) and Young Guns. Race time is at 6PM. The speedway will also hold a toy drive on the Christmas in July event to support local families in the region at Christmas time. Fans who bring an unwrapped toy will receive $5 Off Adult General Admission.
