Race Night Cancelled Due to Track Conditions
Winchester, NH: Mother Nature was finally going to give Monadnock Speedway a break this past Saturday however, after the final rain storm came through and track began to dry speedway staff noticed water seeping through the front stretch wall. The track personnel tried to stop the water from leaking onto track but all efforts were unsuccessful as the speedway was too saturated due to the week long of heavy storms. The decision was made to cancel the event as the track conditions would be too dangerous for competitors to compete on.
On Sunday, Monadnock Speedway was able to host the Cindy Hall Memorial Mudbog Mudslinger Event presented by Summit Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram . The winners were; 4/6 Cylinders David Fraczek (Springfield, VT), 8 Cylinders Rob Card (New Ipswich, NH), Modifieds John Baptistella (Ascutney, VT), Pros Jason Haber (Springfield, VT), Outlaws Greg Noonan (Ridley Park, PA) and Opens Tony Sola (Woodbury, CT).
This Saturday, Monadnock Speedway will welcome back the Valenti Modified racing Series for their final trip to the high banks in the 2018 season. The Fenton Family Dealerships 100 presented by Mayhew Tools will feature 100 Lap Valenti Modified racing Series plus all the weekly divisions. Race time is at 6PM. Fans who bring a canned food item for the Fenton Family Dealership Food Drive to support the Community Kitchen will receive $5 off Adult & Senior Admission.
