(more…)Teddy Hodgdon Wins 2019 SK Light Championship at Stafford Speedway
(Stafford Springs, CT)—After finishing 5th in points in his 2018 SK Light rookie season, Danbury, CT native Teddy Hodgdon and the #55 Montanari Fuel team returned to Stafford in 2019 as one of the championship favorites. When the dust settled Hodgdon was crowned the 2019 track champion after winning 5 races and holding the point lead for the majority of the season. 5 wins and a championship trophy sounds like a dream ending for Hodgdon but his season was anything but perfect.

THOMPSON, Conn. — More than 200 race cars took the green flag across five NASCAR Whelen All-American Series divisions this season at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park. After 10 events, and countless battles on the track, five drivers earned the right to add their name to the historic list of champions at the Connecticut oval.

For the second year in a row, Eddie Mac powered to victory in the Granite State Pro Stock Series 50 lap feature in the World Series of Racing at Thompson Motorsports Park on Saturday. Weather played a major role in the three day event washing out the Friday schedule forcing some creative rescheduling to combine two days into one.

THOMPSON, Conn. — Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park capped off its 2019 season with the third and final day of the 57th Annual Sunoco World Series of Speedway Racing on Sunday, Oct. 13.
Several champions were crowned, including in three Thompson NASCAR Whelen All-American Series divisions, but the main event brought the drivers of the Whelen Modified Tour front and center for one final time in 2019 for their season-ending Sunoco World Series 150.

The Granite State Pro Stock Series held a fifty lap event at Thompson Speedway this weekend, and to no one’s surprise it was “The Outlaw” Eddie MacDonald taking home the win. Macdonald is always a favorite at the 5/8 mile oval proved why once again.
