Oxford 250 Spots On The Line At Speedway 95 This Weekend
NAPLES, ME (June 13) – Following a rare off weekend, the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North Super Late Models and PASS Modifieds return to action this Sunday afternoon at Speedway 95 for the Hopkins Milling & Paving 150. The speedway known as “Maine’s Family Fun Track” will host the next “Road To The Oxford 250” qualifier for New England’s top Super Late Model stars. And, courtesy of Hopkins Milling & Paving, adult tickets will only be $15.
First Super Late Model score for Ray Christian III at Oxford Plains Speedway
Oxford, ME – Ray Christian III raced to his first-ever Oxford Plains Speedway Super Late Model triumph Saturday night, topping the Budweiser Championship Series stock car racing card.
Christian, of Uncasville, Connecticut, was runner-up to current points leader Curtis Gerry of Waterboro last Saturday night and followed that up with a third-place finish in Sunday’s Pro All Stars Series 150-lapper. Victory number one made it three straight podium finishes for the Nutmeg State invader at the historic Route 26 oval track.
Entry List For 46th Annual Oxford 250 Already Filled With Big Names & Champions
NAPLES, ME (June 5) – The entry list continues to grow as the biggest Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Model race of the year draws near. With still two months to go before the green flag drops, there are currently over 30 entries for the 46thAnnual Oxford 250 at Oxford Plains Speedway coming up in August. Racers from coast-to-coast are eagerly anticipating the biggest Super Late Model race in the country and the chance to win $50,000.
Eddie MacDonald drove from his 17th place starting position in the Pro All Star Series 150 lap Super Late Model event at Oxford Plains Speedway on Sunday afternoon to post an encouraging eighth place finish. In only the second race of the season at OPS, the team is dialing in the new Freddie Peterson owned Camaro and the Rowley, Mass. driver is pleased with the progress.
Hall makes it two straight PASS Super Late Model victories at Oxford Plains Speedway
Oxford, Maine – Garrett Hall of Scarborough drove to his second Pro All Stars Series Super Late Model victory of the season Sunday afternoon in the 150-lap main event at Oxford Plains Speedway.
Hall started 12th on the 30-car grid and again methodically worked his way into contention with plenty of racecar at his disposal when it was time to get the job done. When it was time to go Hall was ready, and usually able to make progress in the low groove once finally moving into the top five with his Norm’s Used Cars-sponsored machine.
Curtis Gerry is season’s first two-time winner at Oxford Plains Speedway
Oxford, ME – Curtis Gerry of Waterboro became the first repeat winner of the Budweiser Championship Series Super Late Model season at Oxford Plains Speedway Saturday night, driving from ninth starting position to victory lane in yet another non-stop 50-lap main event.
