Kaiden Fisher Wins Spring Green 126 at Seekonk Speedway

Two young lions of the Milton CAT American-Canadian Tour, Jacob Burns and Kaiden Fisher, showed their stuff at Seekonk Speedway during the 51st Spring Green 126 on Saturday.
Championship hopeful Kaiden Fisher, Seekonk Speedway regular Ryan Flood, and leading rookie Jacob Burns each took heat race wins to set the field.
Surprise entry Tanner Woodard earned the pole position with a +3 while Blainville, Quebec’s Jonathan Bouvrette started alongside. Using the outside groove, Bouvrette led the early circuits before Jacob Burns took over on lap 18. Burns, a former track champion of Seekonk Speedway, began to extend his lead as Kaiden Fisher and Gabe Brown began to enter the picture.
What started out great turned sour for Bouvrette who started to backslide with a right-rear tire going down. It finally gave out completely, sending him spinning in turn one to call out the lone caution of the event. On the restart Burns once again launched off with the lead and drove away, fighting with lap traffic before too long and, unknowingly, setting up his own demise.
