Chase Dowling dominates EXIT Realty MTS 125, while the weekly NASCAR Whelen All-American Series Championships were determined.

Winchester, NH: The NASCAR Whelen All-American Series held their last point’s race of the season this past Saturday night. The EXIT Realty Modified Touring Series joined the racing action as well. Before the racing action got under way an announcement was made about the tragic passing of NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour driver Teddy “TC” Christopher followed by the flag being lowered to half mast and a moment of silence and a special moment of silence and tribute by Ben Dodge. Victory lane saw repeat winners this weekend as Chris Phelps (Young Guns), Hillary Renaud (Lightning Stocks), Randy Rameau (Thunder Stocks), Matt Kimball (Mini Stocks), Eric Pomasko (Super Stocks) and Todd Patnode (Sportsman Modifieds) captured the checkered flag in their respective division. Winchester, NH: This past Saturday the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series took to the track for their 2nd to last point’s race of the season for Whelen Night at the races. The Mini Stocks would run an extra distance $500 to win special event. The New England Pro Four Modifieds were also in town for the 35 lap Paul Roach Memorial race. This week’s winners were: Nate Wenzel (Young Guns), Louis Maher (Mini Stocks), Geoff Rollins (Super Stocks), Rob Richardi Jr. (Pro Four Modifieds), PJ Peters (Pro Four Lite Modifieds), Jason Kozacka (Thunder Stocks), and Joel Monahan (Sportsman Modifieds).

The first feature of the evening would be the 10 lap Young Gun Feature. Nate Wenzel in the 03 led the field to the green. Wenzel took off at the drop of the green and never looked back on his way to capturing his first career Young Guns feature win. Chloe Wright in the 17 started 2nd and would hold onto the 2nd spot until lap 7 when she would succumb to the continued pressure from Bella Minchella in the 99. Minchella tried her hardest to chase down Wenzel but would run out of time and finished 2nd; while Wright held on to finish 3rd. This was an emotional win for Wenzel who made sure to thank his parents, family and sponsors for making everything possible. (more…)

Winchester, NH: The NASCAR Whelen All-American Series was back in action Saturday night as Championship night is only a few weeks away. The Northeastern Midget Association or NEMA joined the night’s activities with two divisions of racing for the 5th Annual Iron Mike Memorial race. Ben Byrne was crowned Sportsman Modifieds Twin 25 series champion. The last Twin 25 event was run on August 26th and points were calculated over the week leading up to tonight’s presentation. Cole Littlewood (Super Stocks) captured his first win of the season. Jason Kozacka was awarded the win after a post-race inspection (Thunder Stocks). Brian Robie (Sportsman Modifieds), Alexander Pearl (Mini Stocks), and Bella Minchella (Young Guns) all took home wins; all of them captured their 2nd win of the season. Matthew Gauffin (Lightening Stocks) captured his 3rd win of the season. Randy Cabral took home the win in the NEMA Lite division; while Seth Carlson captured the win the NEMA feature. (more…)

Winchester, NH: The EXIT Realty Modified Touring Series joined the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series weekly divisions for an exciting night of racing. After rain forced last week’s program to be shortened; Mother Nature dialed up a beautiful day for racing and it showed by the large crowd that filled the stands. Due to the previous weeks weather ,it was decided that the Thunder Stocks and Sportsman Modifieds would run double features tonight and the racing action would start an hour earlier at 5pm. Mike Flynn would capture his 1st Sportsman Modified feature win in only his 6th start in a modified. Tyler Leary (Super Stocks), Nathan Johnson (Sportsman Modifieds feature #2), Matt Kimball (Mini Stocks), Matt Gauffin (Lightening Stocks), Jason Kozacka (Thunder Stocks feature #1), Richard Vincent (Thunder Stocks feature #2), and Cale Skillings (Young Guns) found their way to victory lane in their respected division. The decision was made to not have the Thunder Stocks and Sportsman Modifieds run heat races. So before the other divisions ran their heat races the Thunder Stocks and Sportsman Modifieds ran their first of two features. (more…)

Winchester, NH: The high banks of Monadnock Speedway was silent this past Saturday as Mother Nature brought downpours to the region throughout the day and early evening. However, the silence of the 1/4 track will be broken as the upcoming two weeks are filled with plenty of action to satisfy for full fender fans, open wheel fans and MudBog Fans.

Winchester, NH: The “ACT” Type Late Models took to the High Banks of Monadnock Speedway for their 3rd special event of the season and would be joined by the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series weekly divisions along with the Young Guns. Victory Lane would see some familiar faces and new ones alike. Race fans would see a race decided on the track only to have the victory disqualified in technical inspection, but more on that later. Your winners on the night would be Skillings (Young Guns), Guy (Mini Stocks), Curtis (Super Stocks), Renaud (Lightning Stocks), Gray (“ACT” Type Late Models), and Chapin (Sportsman Modifieds).
