(Stafford Springs, CT)—After going winless during the 2019 SK Modified® season at Stafford, Michael Christopher, Jr. returned to NAPA Victory Lane in 2020 with a thrilling late season victory. Along with the win Christopher posted a total of six podium finishes in 14 races and nearly matched his career best of third in the final points standings by finishing fourth. With the first green flag of the 2021 season on the horizon, Christopher is ready to put his #82 Eastport Feeds / New England Turf Management Chevrolet back in NAPA Victory Lane.

(Stafford Springs, CT)—When the 2020 SK Modified® season kicked off at Stafford Speedway back on June 26, Keith Rocco and the #88 Wheelers Auto team began with a victory and they closed out the 2020 season with a victory and a 4th career track championship at Stafford. Rocco actually clinched the title with one race remaining but he closed out his championship season in grand style, bookending the 2020 season with victories.

NAPA Spring Sizzler® Rescheduled to May 30th & 31st; Double Header Weekend Set for End of May; 2020 Season to Kick-Off May 22nd
(Stafford Springs, CT)—The 49th Annual NAPA Auto Parts Spring Sizzler® has been tentatively rescheduled to Saturday, May 30th and Sunday, May 31st due to the directive from NASCAR, the CDC, and the State of Connecticut relating to Covid-19 (coronavirus). Stafford Speedway will open its season Friday, May 22nd with a NASCAR Weekly Racing series program including all 5 of Stafford’s weekly divisions.
The previously scheduled Call Before You Dig Pro Late Model 81 slated for Friday, May 29th will remain on the schedule, setting up a double-header weekend for all 5 of Stafford’s NASCAR weekly racing series divisions.
“We’re making adjustments to the 2020 schedule due to the coronavirus and the executive order implemented by the governor,” explained Stafford Speedway CEO Mark Arute. “We’ve worked with NASCAR to reschedule the Sizzler to the end of May. We will have an exciting weekend for race fans with the inaugural Call Before You Dig Pro Late Model 81 on Friday and the 49th Annual NAPA Spring Sizzler® Saturday and Sunday.”
