Local Stars Ready to Shine on Busy NorthCountry Federal Credit Union Night
Barre, VT – Barre’s Thunder Road greets the summer solstice this Thursday, June 21 with another big night of racing. A full card is scheduled for NorthCountry Federal Credit Union Night that gives local stars at all levels their time to shine.
The Allen Lumber Street Stocks are kicking things up a notch with the first round of the Twin State Street Stock Series. Thunder Road’s weekly standouts will be joined by out-of-town invaders for a 50-lap feature to open the 4-race “home-and-home” series between Thunder Road and Groveton, NH’s Speedway 51.

Thunder Road Sets “Double Feature” Nights in Wake of Shortened Casella Event
Barre, VT – Several events on the Thunder Road calendar have gotten even bigger with Monday’s release of an updated schedule. As a result of the recent Casella Waste Systems event being cut short by rain, the Maplewood/Irving Late Models, Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers, and Burnett Scrap Metals Road Warriors now each have “double feature” nights scheduled for the coming weeks.

It was Bear Ridge Speedways Benefit night for New Digs for Dogs sponsored by Jiffy Mart of Bradford. The action packed night featured an extra Feature for the Wells River Chevrolet DIRTcar Sportsman Coupes held over from last week and the Wingless Auto Club as well as all the regular features for the 99Rock Weekly Racing Series.

Sunn Stays Hot with Topless Sportsman Win at Devil’s Bowl Speedway
Roberts dominates Limiteds for first dirt victory
WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Josh Sunn continued his hot start to the Modified stock car racing season at Devil’s Bowl Speedway on Sunday, June 17, taking his second victory of the year at the annual Central Vermont Motorcycles Father’s Day “Topless” event. Also cracking into the winner’s circle during the event were Joey Roberts, Chris Murray, Mike Preston, and Austin Chaves.
