Devil’s Bowl Speedway to Host American-Canadian Tour Twice in 2017
“Spring Green” returns; all-new event coming on Vermont 200 Weekend
WEST HAVEN, Vt. – The traveling stock car stars of the American-Canadian Tour (ACT) will return to the Asphalt Track at Devil’s Bowl Speedway twice in 2017. Having just completed its 25th season, one of the premier Late Model racing series in North America will battle in a pair of exciting events at the fast Vermont half-mile that has become a favorite of drivers and fans alike.
With ACT recently releasing its 2017 championship schedule, the Rutland County facility finds itself as the third and ninth stops on the series’ diverse 10-race calendar. (more…)

Devil’s Bowl Speedway Reveals Jam-Packed 2017 Season Schedule
More than 30 stock car events highlight Asphalt Track and Dirt Track calendars
WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Devil’s Bowl Speedway has unveiled its 2017 season schedule, boasting the Northeast’s most diverse slate of motorsports events. Located on Route 22A in scenic West Haven, Vt., and in close proximity to the New York State border, the facility will continue to offer the area’s best and most affordable family-friendly entertainment and the region’s most exciting NASCAR-sanctioned stock car racing on two tracks.
Racing at the half-mile Asphalt Track at Devil’s Bowl will continue to be primarily on Saturday nights at 7:00 p.m. during the summer months, while the 3/10-mile Dirt Track remains a Sunday night show at 6:00 p.m. Sportsman Modifieds, Super Stocks, and Mini Stocks will be the mainstays in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series racing program at both tracks. Annual Devil’s Bowl Speedway Special Award Nominees Announced
Lussier leads the way again; vote of drivers to determine winners at February gala
WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Devil’s Bowl Speedway has announced a diverse list of 59 racecar drivers from six states who have been nominated for the track’s special annual awards. Voting ballots for the yearly Sportsmanship and Most Improved Driver trophies have been circulated to competitors from both the 1/2-mile Asphalt Track and the 3/10-mile Dirt Track at Devil’s Bowl, and the winners will be announced at the two-night Banquet of Champions on February 3-4 in Rutland, Vermont.
The Sportsmanship Award is given each year to one driver in each racing division who displays a consistent commitment to competitiveness, fairness, and respect. The Most Improved Driver Award goes to someone who has made big gains in their competitiveness from previous efforts. Track officials nominate drivers in each division, and the award winners are decided upon by a vote of drivers.

Devil’s Bowl Speedway Announces Weekly Division Realignment for 2017
Late Models to run special events; Renegades renamed “Super Stocks”
WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Devil’s Bowl Speedway has made some adjustments to its weekly stock car racing divisions for the 2017 NASCAR Whelen All-American Series season. The changes are the latest step in an unending process of improving the quality and entertainment value of events at both the half-mile Asphalt Track and the 3/10-mile Dirt Track at the Vermont facility, with several additional enhancements to be announced soon.
