Derek Griffith best in PASS Super Late Model action at White Mountain Motorsports Park

North Woodstock, NH – Derek Griffith drove to his third Pro All Stars Series North Super Late Model victory of the year Saturday night in the New England Race Fuels Sunoco 150 at White Mountain Motorsports Park in North Woodstock, New Hampshire.

Griffith, the reigning PASS Super Late Model National Championship Series kingpin, took the lead away from fellow Hudson, New Hampshire hotshoe Joey Polewarczyk, Jr., then easily outran Connecticut native Dillon Moltz to the checkered flag.

Griffith, who started the race from 13th position, and his LCM Motorsports operation jumped right back into the thick of the PASS North SLM championship battle with their score.  New Jay, Maine resident Moltz, impressive in a second-place performance, nailed down his best finish of the year.

Like winner Griffith, defending PASS North Super Late Model titlist DJ Shaw of Center Conway, New Hampshire got a lot closer to the top of the championship standings with a third-place run aboard the Precision JLM car.  Shaw started the race from 12th position.

Polewarczyk ended up in fourth place after leading the middle portion of the 150-lapper.  Ben Rowe of Turner, Maine was fifth after several pit stops, probably passing more Super Late Models than any rival on this night.

Nick Sweet, Bobby Therrien, Reid Lanpher, early leader Derek Ramstrom and Gabe Brown rounded out the top ten.  Travis Benjamin also led a good chunk of the event but late-race woes relegated him to a 14th-place finish.

The Pro All Stars Series Super Late Models next see action at Star Speedway in Epping, New Hampshire for a 200-lap ‘Road to the Oxford 250’ qualifier scheduled for Tuesday, July 30.  Post time is 6:00 p.m.  For more information visit proallstarsseries.com or call (207) 539-8865.
