Wyatt Alexander wins first GSPSS event at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway
For the first time in Granite State Pro Stock Series history, the traveling pro stockers visited the Beech Ridge Motor Speedway and Wyatt Alexander came out on top of stellar field of cars.
Although the day started out under cloudy skies with a touch of drizzle, it turned out to be a picture perfect day for racing with a varied field of series regulars, track regulars and teams who fit neither of those categories.
Series Point leader Ray Christain III would pace an incident free first practice which was interrupted briefly by drizzle, while it would be Derek Ramstrom posting the fastest time in practice two.
GSPSS headed to Beech Ridge speedway for the first time
For the first time ever The Granite State Pro Stock Series heads for the famed Beech Ridge Speedway in Scarborough Maine. This will be the third appearance for the series in the state of Maine and the first since 2017 and everyone involved couldn’t be more excited.
Ray Christian III leads the series regulars into this event. The Uncasville CT driver has already scored two wins in 2020 and looks to extend his point lead over Angelo Belsito and Joey Polewarczyk. Christain III used a recent weekly race to gain some experience at a track where he has very little. Belsito sits second in points, having scored two wins of his own, having never seen the facility while Polewarczyk has many laps there in a late model.
Walpole NH – For the first time ever, The Granite State Pro Stock Series will contest an event at Beech Ridge Motor Speedway. The track has held Pro Stock races both weekly and as host to touring series since the track was paved in 1986.
The series will make its debut at the Scarborough ME oval on Friday night, July 24. The race will be 100 laps of green flag racing and qualifying will include the ultra-popular Crazy Horse Racing fast time challenge as well as heat races and a consi if needed.

Scarborough, Maine — Gary Smith of Bangor claimed his second career Pro All Stars Series Super Late Model win, and his first-ever Beech Ridge Motor Speedway victory, in the 150-lap main event at the historic Scarborough, Maine racetrack on Sunday afternoon.
Smith, 62, was ecstatic after outrunning his chassis builder, nine-time Oxford Plains Speedway champion Jeff Taylor of Farmington, to the checkered flag. The victory knocked an important entry off his bucket list. Smith joins a small list of Maine racers who have won premiere division events at all six modern-era asphalt racetracks in their home state.
