Snocross Makes its Debut at The Flat Track to Kick Off 2020
The Eastern Snocross Tour will kick off the action-packed 2020 lineup at The Flat Track, which also includes American Flat Track, Granite State Legends Cars and the USAC Dirt Midget Association.

LOUDON, N.H. – The Flat Track at New Hampshire Motor Speedway will kick off its 2020 season in the height of the New England winter with an action-packed snocross event. The Eastern Snocross Tour will make its debut on the snow-covered dirt track when it rips into Loudon February 15-16, marking the first ever winter event on The Flat Track.

 “We’re looking forward to a full season of racing on our newest racing surface, The Flat Track,” said David McGrath, executive vice president and general manager of New Hampshire Motor Speedway. “As New Englanders, we all know the cold and the snow is inevitable, and many of our fans already embrace the winter months by riding snowmobiles throughout the state. The Flat Track’s lineup will give them another reason to love racing at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.”

Speedway Children’s Charities Distributes $55,375 to New England Children in Need

Speedway Children’s Charities New Hampshire Chapter distributed grants to 51 charities to help 59,329 children across New England.

LOUDON, N.H. – The holiday spirit filled The Palace Theatre in Manchester, N.H. on Tuesday as Manchester Mayor Joyce Craig joined Speedway Children’s Charities New Hampshire Chapter at its 11th annual grant distribution ceremony. Grants were handed out to 51 local nonprofits totaling $55,375 in front of the festive backdrop from “A Christmas Carol.”

“Today is such a feel-good day,” said David McGrath, executive vice president and general manager of New Hampshire Motor Speedway. “True holiday spirit is all about helping those who need a little extra, and I’m so proud to be a part of this team who makes the holidays brighter for so many children in our community.”

LOUDON, N.H. – Three more short track races have been added to New Hampshire Motor Speedway’s Full Throttle Fall Weekend, September 11-12, 2020. The fresh new lineup will include the American-Canadian Tour and Granite State Legend Cars along with the NASCAR Whelen Modified Tour and ARCA Menards Series East and will crown four season champions during the two-day event.

More than 60 riders and drivers from this year’s Loudon Road Race Series, MOAT Mountain Road Course Series and J&J’s Yolk & Co. Oval Series were recognized at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Conn. on Saturday, November 16.

LOUDON, N.H. – The 2019 champions from three local racing series were honored at the annual awards banquet held for the first time at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Conn. on Saturday, November 16. Two New England racers – Rick Doucette of the Loudon Road Race Series and Shaun Buffington of the MOAT Mountain Road Course Series and the legend car division of J&J’s Yolk & Co. Oval Series – each took home 2019 Track Champion titles from New Hampshire Motor Speedway in their respective series.

Speedway Motorsports Receives 2019 President’s Veterans Recognition Award from Coca-Cola

New Hampshire Motor Speedway is among eight Speedway Motorsports facilities to consistently provide support to U.S. Armed Forces through NASCAR race weekend initiatives and other events throughout the year.

LOUDON, N.H. – In honor of its unwavering commitment to saluting the United States Armed Forces, New Hampshire Motor Speedway’s parent company, Speedway Motorsports, was named the recipient of the 2019 President’s Veterans Recognition Award from Coca-Cola.

The prestigious award was presented at The Coca-Cola Company’s annual Veterans Day Celebration in Atlanta to Speedway Motorsports President and CEO Marcus Smith, who accepted the accolades on behalf of Speedway Motorsports’ eight world-class motorsports entertainment facilities including New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Atlanta Motor Speedway, Bristol Motor Speedway, Charlotte Motor Speedway, Kentucky Speedway, Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Sonoma Raceway and Texas Motor Speedway.
