Eddie MacDonald Runs Fifth in PASS Race at OPS

Eddie MacDonald posted a solid fifth place finish in the Coastal Auto Parts 150 Super Late Model race at Oxford Plains Speedway, Maine on Sunday. The Hancock Electric/Grimm Construction Chevy owned by Freddie Peterson raced for the first time this season with MacDonald somewhat pleased with the result.

“Obviously you always want to run better but after the practice day on Saturday, we made a ton of changes and they almost paid off,” said Eddie Mac after the race. “We were real slow on Saturday so Rollie (LaChance-crew chief) and the crew made a bunch of adjustments and by the end of practice Sunday morning we felt we had a pretty good car.”

How “Sweet” It Is….Again

Oxford, ME – Nick Sweet slipped past early leader Corey Bubar near the midpoint of the of the Coastal Auto Parts Pro All Stars Series (PASS) 150 at Oxford Plains Speedway (OPS) Sunday afternoon. The win is the fifth career triumph for the Barre, Vermont driver and the second in three races of the PASS Tour in 2020. Center Conway, NH driver DJ Shaw came home in the runner up spot while Travis Benjamin rounded out victory lane in a carbon copy top three finish of the opening PASS race earlier in the month. Sunday’s race at OPS was held without fans but was broadcast by NSNsports out of Vermont.

Worst to First, Griffith Prevails!

North Woodstock NH – Twenty-nine cars took the green flag for round two of the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Model 2020 season at White Mountain Motorsports Park (WMMP) on a hot, sweltering day with temperatures in the mid to high 80’s. Starting dead last in the field was the familiar 12G of Derek Griffith. 150 grueling laps later, Griffith pulled off the very rare worst-to-first accomplishment to take home the checkers on the high banked oval. Chasing him across the line was Tamworth’s Jeremy Davis and teenager Gabe Brown to fill out the podium. Griffith was understandably pleased with the result.

Cut Tire for Eddie MacDonald Ends Solid Run at WMMP in the PASS SLM

Eddie MacDonald opened the PASS North Super Late Model Series at White Mountain Motorsports Park in North Woodstock, NH on Sunday with a disappointing end to the 150 lap event. With approximately 30 laps to go the Hancock Electric/Grimm Construction Chevy cut down a right front tire while running fourth.

After avoiding contact with the outside wall, Eddie Mac made it to the pit for a new tire then returned to the track two laps down where he would finish 19th in the 30 car field. Prior to the cut tire Eddie Mac was poised for a solid top five finish in the Dave Lemieux owned Chevy.

WMMP, NSN Unveil Full Pay-Per-View Options for June 6 & 7 Events

N. Woodstock, NH – White Mountain Motorsports Park (WMMP) and the Northeast Sports Network (NSN) have officially unveiled the full set of pay-per-view options for the track’s season-opening doubleheader on Saturday, June and Sunday, June 7. While fan attendance at the events is not permitted due to current state health and safety guidelines, racing fans around the world can enjoy a full weekend of racing from the comfort of their homes.

NSN will have live flag-to-flag coverage of all qualifying and feature races at both events. The Saturday, June 6 program includes all five of the track’s regular divisions with extra-distance, non-point features. Sunday, June 7 features the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Models in their first championship event of 2020.

WMMP to Hold Pay-Per-View Doubleheader Without Fans June 6 & 7
Northeast Sports Network to Broadcast Weekly Racing & PASS Events

N. Woodstock, NH – The 2020 White Mountain Motorsports Park (WMMP) racing season is finally getting underway. Track officials have announced plans to hold two events without fans on Saturday, June 6 and Sunday, June 7.

The doubleheader includes the Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Model season opener on Sunday with WMMP’s weekly divisions set for action on Saturday. The Northeast Sports Network (NSN) will stream both events online via pay-per-view.

The WMMP racing season had been on hold due to New Hampshire health and safety orders in place to limit the spread of the COVID-19 virus. However, it was determined that events without fans in attendance could happen with strict guidelines in place. Thanks to the NSN pay-per-view broadcast, fans can experience both events from the comfort and safety of their homes.
