Griffith Goes from Last to First for PASS Win at WMMP

Woodstock, NH – Hudson’s Derek Griffith went from the outhouse to the penthouse in less than an hour to score his fifth Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Model win of the season at White Mountain Motorsports Park on Saturday, September 21. Griffith took the lead from six-time PASS North Champion Johnny Clark of Hallowell, ME on a restart with 11 laps remaining in the PASS 150 and sped off to his second victory in six days.

NAPLES, ME (September 11) – Following the enormous success of the 46th Annual Oxford 250, Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North racers should be well rested as they begin the stretch run to decide the championship this weekend at Oxford Plains Speedway. With the season starting to wind down, a big field of PASS North Super Late Models and PASS Modifieds are expected on Sunday afternoon for a big day of racing planned at Oxford Plains.
Exciting Innovations Announced As PASS Looks To Lanier Return
NAPLES, ME (August 29) – In June, Pro All Stars Series (PASS) officials announced that the PASS National Super Late Model Championship would be decided at Georgia’s Lanier Raceplex on November 15-16. The Lanier National 200 for the PASS Super Late Models will be 200 laps, paying $6000 to win and $1000 to start. The starting grid will be set by heat races in which their lineups will be determined by using last practice speeds. And, for the first time ever, the pre-race tech will be set by the order that entries are received, giving teams longer to prepare for practice and the race. The first entrants for the Lanier National 200 are North Carolina’s, Tate Fogleman, New Hampshire drivers, Bryan Kruczek and Gabe Brown, and Ontario, Canada’s, JP Josiasse.
Short Track Stars Look To Stop Pollard In This Weekend’s Oxford 250
NAPLES, ME (August 21) – With just days left before on track activity begins at Oxford Plains Speedway for the 46th Annual Oxford 250 and hundreds of campers already dot the property, Pro All Stars Series (PASS) Super Late Model teams are making final preparations for one of the biggest events on the racing calendar. While many eyes will be on Georgia’s Bubba Pollard as he attempts to defend his Oxford 250 crown, the short track star might not enter Sunday’s race as the favorite. 2017 winner Curtis Gerry of Waterboro, ME, has concentrated all his efforts on competing at Oxford Plains this season, with several wins in weekly competition and a PASS North win there as well. Championship contender, Garrett Hall sits just 15 points behind the 3-time PASS North titlist, DJ Shaw, largely in part due to his two wins at Oxford Plains earlier this year. But, after advancing from the last chance race a year ago before going on to win the 250, Pollard is still the driver many feel will be the one to beat in 2019.
Final PASS Tune-Up For 250 This Weekend At Oxford Plains
NAPLES, ME (August 9) – With just two weeks remaining before the green flag drops on the 46th Annual Oxford 250, Pro All Stars Series (PASS) North Super Late Model drivers will get one last chance this weekend to prep at Oxford Plains Speedway. The Honey Badger Bar & Grill 150 on Sunday afternoon will give racers their best opportunity to hit the track in similar conditions to those they will experience in the 250. And, as the last race in “The Road To The Oxford 250” program, a final group of drivers will get the honor of being locked in to North America’s most prestigious Super Late Model event. Competitors will have the opportunity to race for one of the richest winner’s purses in asphalt short track racing, with $25,000 to win, plus an additional $25,000 in lap leader money. Last year’s winner, Bubba Pollard of Senoia, GA, took home over $28,000 last year for his efforts in becoming the first southern driver to win the Oxford 250 since 1983. While no one in the last two decades has led more than Joey Polewarcyzk’s 205 laps in 2012, if a driver could somehow manage to lead all 250 laps, they would take home $50,000 for the win.
