White Dominates for Big Win on VT Tire & Service Night
Barre, VT – Northfield’s Matt White barreled to his first Thunder Road win in more than two years by taking the Maplewood/Irving Oil Late Model victory on Thursday, August 15 at Vermont Tire & Service Night. White dove underneath Washington’s Ricky Roberts for the lead early in the 50-lap feature and never let go of the top spot.

Sheppard wins $11,500; Tremont takes KOD Crate win
WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Matt Sheppard had never seen Devil’s Bowl Speedway prior to Sunday, August 11, but he quickly became very familiar with the Vermont track’s Victory Lane area. “Superman” won every race he ran at the inaugural “Battle at the Bowl” Big Block/Small Block Modified Challenge, and he capped an undefeated three-day weekend with an $11,500 payday. Brett Hearn and Kenny Tremont Jr. also took victories at the event, which drew one of the largest grandstand crowds of the last 20 years at Devil’s Bowl Speedway.

Kenny Schrader’s night cut short in the USAC DMA Midgets when his fuel pump failed eliminating him from the feature. Zach Audet gets his first win in the Peanuts Auto Four Cylinders.
Billado Wins Feature While Woodard Takes Triple Crown Title on Cody Night
Barre, VT – Grand Isle’s Mike Billado and Waterbury Center’s Jason Woodard both won big in the Myers Container Service Triple Crown Series finale at Cody Chevrolet-Cadillac Night on Thursday, August 8. Billado held off rookie Stephen Martin of Craftsbury on a two-lap dash to the finish to claim the 75-lap main event for the Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers. Meanwhile, Woodard’s third-place run locked up the series title.
