Barre, VT – Grand Isle’s Mike Billado and Waterbury Center’s Jason Woodard both won big in the Myers Container Service Triple Crown Series finale at Cody Chevrolet-Cadillac Night on Thursday, August 8. Billado held off rookie Stephen Martin of Craftsbury on a two-lap dash to the finish to claim the 75-lap main event for the Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers. Meanwhile, Woodard’s third-place run locked up the series title.

The Middlebury, Vt., driver won the Pepsi Sportsman Modified feature on Friend Construction Night on Sunday, August 4, to turn a bad run of luck around, highlighting an event that also saw Anthony Ryan, Chris Murray, David Sartwell-Cornell, and Evan Roberts make trips to Victory Lane.

Barre, VT – Graniteville’s Frank Putney dominated the late stages of the 35th Bolduc Metal Recycling Enduro 200 to claim the $3,000 top prize at Barre’s Thunder Road on Sunday, August 4. Putney took the lead with 70 laps to go after Barre’s Chris LaForest pitted with a flat tire and was never headed from there on his way to the victory.
