Barre, VT – Thunder Road is ready to celebrate its 60th season of competition in style. The track has set its official 60th-anniversary bash for Saturday, September 14 at 5:00pm as part of Championship Night at “The Nation’s Site of Excitement”. The event will be presented by the Barre Granite Association (BGA), a fitting partnership for the high-banked oval that sits atop Quarry Hill.
All four Thunder Road divisions will be in action that night with added-distance features to celebrate the landmark season. The Maplewood/Irving Oil Late Models and Lenny’s Shoe & Apparel Flying Tigers will run twin 60-lap features in recognition of the 60th season. The Late Models have been the top division at Thunder Road since 1992, while the Flying Tigers are the track’s oldest division and have competed non-stop for nearly 40 years.

Attleboro, Massachusetts (February 1, 2019) — The inaugural season of the Bullring Bash Quarter Mile Challenge will now have even more on the line for Modified teams in the region. Bullring Bash and Race of Champions (RoC) officials announced today that all 2019 Bullring Bash Modified events will be automatic qualifiers for the 69th annual Race of Champions 250 on Saturday, September 28.

The Vermont facility enters its 53rd season after an ultra-successful transitional year that saw the full-time return of exciting weekly dirt racing to its half-mile surface, larger car counts, and more fans.

Officials from the Bullring Bash Quarter Mile Challenge Series recently announced that the “Rumble in the Quarry” Modified and Legend Car events at Thunder Road will now be held Sunday, September 1. The events were originally scheduled for Saturday, September 14, but have been moved due to a conflict with the Tri-Track Modified Series.
WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Devil’s Bowl Speedway celebrated its champions and top performers from the 2018 stock car racing season on Saturday, January 26, at the annual Banquet of Champions. A crowd of well over 300 guests honored more than 80 drivers and special award winners during the event, which was held at the Holiday Inn Rutland-Killington in Rutland, Vermont.
