Hearn Rebounds for Vermont 200 Win at Devil’s Bowl Speedway

WEST HAVEN, Vt. – Brett Hearn added to his legendary dirt Modified stock car racing career at Devil’s Bowl Speedway on Sunday, September 16 by winning the biggest event in the track’s 52-year history at the Interstate All Battery Center Vermont 200. The Kinnelon, N.J., star entered as the favorite to win the $10,000 prize, but the race was anything but easy before he tallied the 910th win of his career and his first at Devil’s Bowl since 1994 in front of a monster grandstand crowd.

Bear Ridge Speedway
As the season winds down at Bear Ridge Speedway the action was really heating up on 99Rock/Wells River Savings bank Night. Joining the regular divisions of the 99Rock Weekly Racing Series were both the Wingless Auto Club and the Granite State Mini Sprints. The Limited Late Models were also running another leg of the Twin State Series between Bear Ridge and The Legion Speedway.

Chaves tightens Mini Sprint point battle with fourth win
WEST HAVEN, Vt. – The Interstate All Battery Center Vermont 200 Weekend kicked off with a big day of racing at Devil’s Bowl Speedway on Saturday, September 15. Ron Proctor, Jim McKiernan, and Austin Chaves opened the biggest event in the track’s history by visiting victory lane, setting up a huge Sunday program.

Huge Milk Bowl Weekend Coming Up Fast
Barre, VT – The 56th Vermont Milk Bowl presented by Northfield Savings Bank is coming up fast on the Thunder Road calendar. With three days of racing action scheduled for Friday, September 28 to Sunday, September 30, this year’s Milk Bowl is setting up to be the biggest in the event’s 56-year history.
The leading names in Northeast stock car racing will be on hand for the unique 3-segment event dubbed “The Toughest Short Track Race in North America”. From the first practice session on Friday until the checkered flag in the final 50-lap segment, each must go all-out in order to secure the $10,000+ winner’s check and add their name to one of Thunder Road’s granite monuments.

Bear Ridge Speedway
It was once again a busy, exciting action packed night at Bear Ridge Speedway. The children always look forward to this night as it was Bike Giveaway Night and with well over 50 bikes donated there were lots of happy kids Saturday night. Staunch Security was the nights sponsor and they had a huge display for ”Bully Awareness Night” and gave away close to 500 Shirts proclaiming “Bullies Suck” to promote awareness to the issue. All the 99Rock regular divisions were on hand as well as the Wingless Auto Group.
